Non-government organization "Culturist"

www.enjoyserbia.info is conceived as a complex web portal that provides to visitors various information about the tourist offer of Serbia (cultural and historical monuments, natural beauties, accommodation facilities and tourist events). An important segment of the idea was showing the position of tourist facilities on the Google map with the possibility of an advanced filtering by category. Additionaly, we were requested to develop a possibility of measuring the distance to objects in the vicinity of the observed objects and displaying listings by distance. For the purpose of displaying events, we were requested to make a module showing the events that take place over a period of 7 days from the date of accession to the portal. An ability of commenting the objects of tourist offer and loading comments by categories on the home page was another request. A complex online form for the purpose of collecting data on the storage capacities is also designed.

Graphic & Web Design Solution

A respond to complex requirements and a wide variety of data that needed to be shown was only possible by using several specialized components (a real estate component for accommodation facilities, a calendar of events component and a special GMap component). The ability of measuring distances and displaying object listings was made possible by means of an aided programming.

One of the requirements was the integration with some newsletter service.

www.enjoyserbia.com has become a well visited site.
